SKY has publicized that it will be providing its super-fast fibre optic broadband for the whole year.
Customers who subscribe to SKY Fibre will avoid the £10/month bill the company has previously incurred for the fibre optic network. Probably best of all, the smallest contract term for the package is only one year. That means you can pay nothing for your fast connection for the 12 months.
Unfortunately – the SKY package does not cutout the required £16.40 fee for the monthly line rental. However, this is the first time nay leading broadband provider has offered an annual fibre broadband at a very affordable price.
It is worth taking note that broadband included in the package is not boundless. Rather, you will be limited at a 25GB per month. Call SKY customer service phone number today!
If you want all-you-eat broadband, SKY has the Fibre Unlimited for £10 per month, which is normally £20 a month plus the landline rental fee. The company says the newest package offers a saving of £186.13 over a year when associated with the closest equivalent services from BT.
Lyssa McGowan, SKY Broadband director stated, “We know there numerous people who would like to avail superfast speeds but are hold over by the high prices incurred by some providers.
"With this revolutionary offer, we are making SKY Fibre even more open to the public.
"Now superfast broadband is sincerely for the whole world.”
Telecoms expert at uSwitch, Ernest Doku said Express.co.uk: "Fibre broadband needs consciousness boost, and SKY’s services might help.
"Less than a third of standard broadband users consider they can avail superfast fibre broadband in their place, regardless of now being available to almost eight in 10 UK families.
“Free is never quite free, of course, as there’s line rental at £16.40 per month to budget for, but it’s a solid introductory deal for those wanting faster home broadband speeds.
“Anyone interested should note the 25GB download limit. To put that in context, you could stream around four films in high definition for that amount of data.
“Given that fibre is designed for heavier users, it might not be enough for families or people who are avid streamers and downloaders of games, movies, box sets and music.
“As SKY is providing the choice of unlimited fibre for those willing to pay for it, they are probably hoping people will end up upgrading to the premium fibre service in time, as customers get a taste for the benefits of fibre broadband."
